Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Deep and brooding, this wine juxtaposes sweet berry and lifted floral aromas against notes of fresh wet earth and mushroom. Hints of anise and fennel round out the complex aromatic profile. The earthy character follows through on the palate along with Black Doris plum, chokecherry and dark chocolate. The finish is long and structured with a vein of minerality and promises a long, age-worthy life for this wine.
Vineyard Notes
Our very best Pinot Noir blocks were handpicked into 30 pound totes and vinified in small lots, using a combination of native and non-native yeasts.
Food Pairing Notes
Pair with truffle-accented dishes and risotto.
Other Notes
Like all of our wines, the Pinot Noir was grown and produced at our historic, 75-acre estate in South East Kelowna. We’re proud to say our grapes are farmed by hand, without the use of herbicides or pesticides. Our thriving honey bee program, consisting of 53 hives, is a testament to the health and vitality of the vineyard.
