Earlier this May I had planned a weekend of working in my backyard. You know, the regular spring cleanup of weeds and dead foliage. Of course with the hot weather we’re having there was no way I’d be out there without some refreshments! While planning some meals I thought about spiked lemonade, it’s light, tart, and sweet, the idea was quickly becoming my newest obsession! Spiked lemonade sounded good, but it needed something more to set it apart, lavender! A trip to the local health food store and 30th Street Liquor Store and I was set!
