Here at 30th street liquor store we carry the best selection of craft beer in Vernon! The majority of our selection is made in British Columbia which is great because buying local is always something to be proud of. Sometimes you have to step outside of your BC comfort zone and try a little east coast flavor!
Ever since the craft beer business has taken off in the past decade there has always been one brewery that snatches all the medals at the beer awards. The amazing Unibroue brewery has been prestigious since 1990, when they were founded. They are currently in Chambly, Quebec whose history is the inspiration for the majority of their delicious beer.
The special thing about them is that their bomber size bottles are created ‘on lees’ style; meaning that they have a champagne cork, and are bottle fermented so the longer you cellar them the better they are! All of the brews are partially fermented which gives it the intense, and effervescent result. We carry the Blanche de Chambly ($6.45 +T&D), The Maudite ($6.85 +T&D), Trois pistoles ($7.00 +T&D), Blonde de Chambly ($6.75 +T&D). The regular bottle ones (like in the 12 pack that we have for $22.65 +tax &dep) are just as special as the on lees bottles! There is the Térrible (Black Quadrupel), and Raftman (Amber, peat smoked whiskey malt ale) in the 12 pack collection which are not available in large bottles, so pick one up and enjoy the variety with friends or on your own. ;)
